Stewardship is one mark of a follower of Christ. A steward understands that all gifts – from the breath of life to the talents and treasures provided to us – come from God. We respond to God’s generosity not because we have to, but because God’s own goodness draws us to respond.
Although stewardship includes tithing, giving a percentage of one’s income to the Church, it’s also about how we use our time and talents, and share those with our faith community.
Without each parishioner's participation in stewardship, the physical needs of our parish simply cannot be met. The parishioners of St. Agnes are the Church, therefore it is the responsibility of all of us to care for and cherish our Parish.
How will you share your God-given gifts?
