First Grade

Hello. My name is Laura Wheeling.  This is my first year as the first grade teacher at St. Agnes School.  I was the first grade aide last year.  I received my teaching certificate in 2010 from Illinois State University.

My husband Brian and I have three children.  Our youngest, Evan, is a kindergarten student at St. Agnes.  Our daughter, Adele, is in 4th grade here at St. Agnes, and our oldest son, Adam, graduated from St. Agnes in 2022 and is a Junior at SHG.  My husband and I have been married for 18 years.  We have lived in Springfield for the last 10 years.  My husband is from Springfield.  I grew up in Teutopolis, Illinois and I come from a very big Catholic family.
