Hello from the Resorce room! No school day is quite the same for me, and in general you will find me running around the building from math class to math class. My job is to support learning for students from 6th to 8th grade, with focus on math. I may function as a team teacher within a classroom, or I may take small groups to my classroom for some targeted review and remediation or to extend their learning past the general curriculum. Study skills and organization are two of my favorite things to talk about, so if any student needs some help, I am always available. In additon to this, I hold weekly Challenge Classes for smaill groups of students in grades K through 4 which have a STEM focus and challenge students to think and act like engineers and scientists. From long division to self-propelled cars to carapults, there is always something interesting happening in the Resource Room.
My teaching motto is: I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it.

I have worn many hats in the St. Agnes School over the last 35 years such as: Parents’ Club president, Parish Council president, playground director, substitute teacher all levels, teacher’s aide, 4th grade teacher, Resource/Challenge teacher K-8, librarian, and most recently Resource K-5. My adult children, Jennifer and Denis, both attended and graduated from here and were blessed to have teachers who cared about them. We have memory bricks on the Peacebuilder playground to remember their years that “paved” their early life’s journey. My husband Michael has served on the school board and is currently on the St. Agnes finance council. St. Agnes is my home away from home, and my life’s work of being part of children’s early revolving lives and hopefully making a difference as they do in mine. With divine intervention and the inspiration of Phillipians 4:13: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me." May my journey at St. Agnes continue to be blessed and filled with many memories.
