Welcome to St. Agnes School!  You have come to a very special place dedicated to the education of your children in a very special way that will foster deep and personal relationships with God and prepare for the higher level learning, careers and families that will follow.

As you tour our school, experience the inviting and stimulating presence of our classrooms, and become acquainted with our teachers, you will experience Christ’s presence.  He is here to guide and inspire us as we embark with each child on their life-long journey of learning, discovery and success.  

You will begin to encounter this through the information about St. Agnes School in this packet.  Please read all this material carefully.  You will encounter Christ’s presence in the testimonials that introduce you to our full roster of teachers, their God-given skills and how they use those gifts to engage students in their studies.

Dear Parents,

I am very excited to welcome you to St. Agnes School.  Guided by our school mission, we are devoted to helping every student discover God’s presence in their lives and develop all aspects of their growth – spiritual, moral, intellectual, emotional, physical and social.

Knowing that Christ is the reason for our school, we gladly present multiple opportunities for all of our student families to practice their faith together.  I pray that you will be filled with the grace and wisdom to draw upon our parish commitment to each family’s spiritual growth and development:

• Participate in Sunday Mass every weekend.  Weekly participation and receiving the Holy Eucharist is the backbone that gives strength to the faith of every Catholic family.  Our St. Agnes weekend Mass schedule is 4:30 p.m., Saturdays; 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., Sundays.
• “Share the Word” is conducted in the Parish Hall at 9:00 a.m. Mass every Sunday for young children.
• Parents and family members are invited to attend weekly, all-school Masses at 8:15 a.m. on Thursdays throughout the school year.
• St. Agnes Parish hosts a Vacation Bible School every summer.
• Other such opportunities will be promoted in our weekly parish bulletin and the weekly newsletter to parents of students distributed throughout the school year.

We are a Catholic educational community.  We understand that some families who inquire about St. Agnes School are members of other faith communities and congregations.  Please be assured that all are welcomed to St. Agnes with open arms and the love of God in our hearts.  With respect for your faith, we will provide your children with an educational experience that is inspired by our mission and respects the religious beliefs and practices of other faiths and their cultures.
